Passende neue Controller (Schlagzeug, Mikrofon) sind verfügbar. Des Weiteren ist ein umfangreicher Charakter-Editor (Personalisierung der Spielfigur) integriert. Der Online-Modus ist im Vergleich zum Vorgänger stark erweitert: Nun können Mitglieder für eine virtuelle Band online gefunden werden oder zwei Gruppen gegeneinander antreten.
